Hello I need tutorial step by step how to install this game because i can't in my game list in steam i can't see after install BG2 in game list. Please help.

Do you own Half Life 2 (not the demo), Half Life 2 Deathmatch, Counter Strike Source or Team Fortress 2?

If you have already installed it correctly, it will appear in your games list after you have bought HL2 and then restarted steam.

Ok I bought Half Life 2 Deathmatch and I install HL2 and I have HL2 on my game list. After install HL2 I install BG2 in D:\Gry\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods
and I restart Steam after this action on my game list i can't see BG2  Please help me |

In the library page, click on the sub-menu "tools" and install "Source SDK Base 2007":

So you have bought Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and not got it for free (from an Nvidia or ATi GPU promotion?)? If you buy according to what we know you should get the Source SDK under tools and with it the Source SDK Bases. I see that this isn't the case. If nothing helps, buy Half-Life 2. If you have bough HL2:DM, contact the steam support and ask them why you don't have the Source SDK.

According to Valve it includes the Source SDK Base. Go here and click on the link in the FAQ section at the bottom, the one in answer to the "Where can I find Source SDK Base? " question.

I need orange box to run Battlegrounds 2?
I buy Half Life 2: Classic which case CODE Half Life: Source Half Life 2 Half Life 2:Deathmatch I click on install it yourself and nothing happens. Of course I choose that it was opened by STEAM. No, you need to get your Half-Life 2 to install and register with your steam account. That should sort it out. I didn't see HL2 in the screenshot of your games list above.
To do this, you can also use Steam. In the Steam Library/games view, in the menu bar hit games -> activate a product on Steam. There you can enter the CD-key of your box to activate your copy of HL2. -------------------- With the Eye of the Eagle we have seen the enemy in front of us.
